Account & Fund Verification

2 min. readlast update: 05.26.2026

To help keep your account secure and compliant, Astropips may ask for “Proof of Ownership” documents. This simply means providing documents that confirm you are the rightful owner of the funds, assets, or accounts connected to your trading activity.

As part of our verification process, we may request additional documentation to:

  • Verify your identity
  • Meet regulatory and financial compliance requirements
  • Protect against fraud, money laundering, and unauthorized activity
  • Process certain account actions smoothly and securely

As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, Astropips reserves the right to request supporting documentation at any time, including during withdrawals or account reviews.

When Might We Request Proof of Ownership?

You may be asked to provide proof of ownership in situations such as:

  • Processing high-value withdrawals
  • Participating in corporate actions
  • Completing compliance reviews (KYC / AML checks)
  • Verifying share ownership before trading restrictions are removed

Accepted Proof of Wealth Documents

You don’t need to provide every document listed below. In most cases, one or more supporting documents will be enough depending on your account activity.

Tax Returns (Last 2 Years)

  • Submit complete tax return documents for the past two taxable years
  • Ensure all pages and document corners are clearly visible
  • These can usually be downloaded from your local tax authority portal

Payslips

  • Provide payslips showing income from the past two years
  • Upload clear photos or PDF copies with all details visible
  • These can be obtained directly from your employer

Crypto Wallet or Trading Account Statements

  • Submit full statements showing trading history or profits from the past 6–12 months
  • Your name and address should be clearly visible where applicable
  • Statements from trading platforms, exchanges, or MT5 accounts may be accepted

Important Reminders

  • Make sure your name and address are visible on all documents where possible
  • For decentralised crypto wallets, screen recordings may be requested for verification
  • To speed up the review process, we recommend submitting both screenshots and screen recordings when available

Accountant Letters (Real Estate or Inheritance)

  • Provide a signed and dated letter from your accountant
  • Include relevant details relating to property holdings, inheritance, or asset ownership

For Self-Employed Individuals

Please provide:

  • Company ownership documents (such as Articles of Incorporation)
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Latest company financial statements showing turnover
  • Company bank statements displaying earnings and business activity
